Experiment Pictures encompasses the past, present and future film projects by Andrew Ellis.
Andrew is a self-taught “micro-cinema” producer, director, editor, cinematographer, actor and all-around go-fer who has been experimenting with digital video and film since 2000. He has collaborated with numerous filmmakers in the Treasure Valley region of Idaho including Full Tilt Boogie, owyheesound, the College of Idaho Digital Lab, Super Red Pictures, Born Mad Films, the Apt Pupils, North End Films, thislovelymachine, American Dionysus Films, and Never Wait Films.
Andrew was a co-founder of the now defunct Small Pond Films in Boise—an organization that strived (and for a time succeeded) in being a hub of community-based independent cinema in the Treasure Valley.
Andrew is the co-founder and Managing Director for the annual i48/Idaho 48 Hour Film Competition and Festival. (idaho48.org)
